A New Day

     With the dawning of each new day the opportunities to begin anew inspire the imagination. What will this day bring, how can I impact the lives of others today, where will God lead me today. As I walk this journey with the Lord, there are so many surprises, so many new opportunities, so many valleys and mountain peaks and it is our trust in the Lord that provides us the wisdom to know which path to follow. So often I have followed a path and found it has not been the direction I should have gone and yet the times I have followed the path I believe the Lord has directed me too, the outcomes are wonderful and beyond expectation. That doesn't mean there have not been obstacles along the way, some of my own making and yet we can still move forward because we serve a gracious and forgiving Father and Lord.

     So today as I begin a new day, I ask the Lord: Lord give me the strength to accomplish all that you have for me today, give me wisdom to know how to deal with situations with your grace, help me to see what you see and feel what you feel today. Fill my heart will all that you are and all that you want me to be. My desire is to walk through this day with your wisdom, your strength, your passion, your thoughfulness and your grace.
